Good choices result in good consequences.
I can see the results in people’s lives. They make choices and they have consequences. There are physical laws like gravity. Man’s laws like stop signs, and God’s laws like love your neighbor.
When we break any of these laws we suffer consequences. Not all consequences are immediate. We have the opportunity to use all these laws as guideposts for our freedom.
I know that I am free from waiting for the other shoe to drop when I have made good decisions. I have peace of mind. That’s worth more than several million dollars.
Pray. Read. Meditate.
Remove the things that block the Sunlight of the Spirit from shining through your life. Enjoy being a Warrior of Light!
What does a “Warrior of Light” mean?
A “warrior of light” is in my understanding a person with hope. Hope that he can be better; Hope that the world will be better; Hope that there is meaning; Hope despite the doubts and gloom that surround us often. He is not absolutely sure of himself or absolutely flawless. He knows that he is not perfect. He knows that the world is not perfect. But he does not give up the hope.
Gomathi Shankar, I want to live many lives in one life. Working towards it.
“Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint.” ISAIAH 40:29-31
This strength is available to us. Hope is stronger that flood waters which wash everything away. Hope can wash away all that baggage, the rock that we have been willingly carrying around. Drop the rock!
Claim your peace. Claim your place. The chains around your arms have no shackles. That means they are not locked on you. Let them slide away with your new attitude. Attitude is an angle of approach.
Pray. Be humble. Read devotionals. Give thanks.
Help the people out today. Be kind when no one is looking. You are a Warrior of Light! Humility is your shield.
Warrior of the Light: A Manual (Amazon)
Manual of the Warrior of Light is a 1997 collection of Paulo Coelho‘s teachings originally published in various Brazilian newspapers between 1993 and 1996. It also includes proverbs, extracts from the Tao Te Ching, the Bible, the book of Chuang Tzu, the Talmud and various other sources. The enclosing narrative presents all this as if it were an actual handbook for a Templar or Paladin. As stated in the book’s summary, the Manual is for those who strive to meet their destiny and who want to ascend to a higher level of being.
Emmet Fox tells that the Golden Key is to think of God instead of our problems and worries. As soon as they come to mind, practice thinking about some aspect of God. We can reflect on His mercy or love or power. This is the key to letting God handle it. Try it!
Pray. Read. Think about God. Put others first today.
